Configuration of IIS Proxy to SAP Enterprise Portal

I am Abhi, i am new to this IIS Proxy Configuration to the Portal, if any body having configuration document on How to configure IIS proxy to SAP Enterprise Portal with Step by Step please tell me.

Which version of SAP EP you are on .. as latest versions require you to setup SPNEGO instead of IIS ... So let me know if you want help on SPNEGO ...

Right now we are on SAP EP7.0,

So according to your mail IIS is not suitable for SAP EP7.0.

to be frank i don't know about SPNEGO....

Can you please share information about SPNEGO....

Hi Abhiram,

First upgrade your JDK to 1.4.2_18 as there is a Kerberos bug with all previous versions till _13 but even though there is a simple work around for any JDK Version. But if you are doing a fresh installation do it with latest i.e. _18.

Note 994791 - SPNego Wizard u2013 Download the dataSourceConfiguration_ads_readonly_db_with_krb5.xml file from the note

Then configure your UME LDAP Data Source from Config Tool.

and then follow the steps according to the :

I have recently configures SPNEGO so I know all the issues that comes across this setup. Let me know if any help is required.

we configure SPNEGO and we did Internet Explorer settings also, still out Portal asking user id and password.......

please let me know...where i did the mistake.....

and i have one question for you....how can i find KDC port number and what is the default port number of KDC.

Login to your Visual Admin, then go to -->Security Provider -->com.sun.security.gss.accept -->Krb5LoginModule

Add a Parameter isInitiator and Value false. Save it and take a bounce of J2EE.

This should solve your login page problem Otherwise paste the default trace.

The Default Port for KDC is 389. Check with your LDAP Team to find out your KDC port.

Thanks for your fast response.....we are not able to find this one : com.sun.security.gss.accept we found in Security Provider : com.sun.security.jgss.accept and could you please let me know in Authentication template what should we have to select.....
