Collect additional parameter values for the Tools, besides the Used Count and Used Time.

Hi All,

With the tool log function it is possible to record the number of times the tool is used and the time the tool is used.

With the Manage Data Collection we create a Collection group to collect additional parameters values. One of the parameters is the Tool Number to link the data collection to the Tool Logging.

Is this the best approach to collect additional data for the Tools?

How to connect the tool logging to the data collection?

Hello Adelino,
Currently, Tools capability don´t support additional parameter values other than Custom Values in Manage Tools app, so if you need to collect multiple additional parameter values for tools during each tool usage, data collection might be a good option, and adding the tool number to the data collection group to stablish a link might be a good idea.
