CMS UPDATE

Hello people,

We have XI on ISeries server. We are trying to create a track in

CMS. but we can not found any Software component to add. So, we do a

clink on "Update CMS" botton to synchronize any software components

that were created in my SLD (its in the same server) after CMS was last synchronized. when we do that, The system hung without visual error

any software component appears

What can i do?

check the logs:

C:\usr\sap\....\CMS\log

Additionally check that your user has all the required authorizations

I think that the host name can be one an issue, for example?

and are you sure that the sld is up and running? the 503 is very suspicious.

That could be possible too.

Did you see the SLD logs? And does sldcheck give a correct output?

Hi,

are you sure you are looking at the correct date? that looks like a deployment error- which is explained in note 718754. But Im not sure that it fits you.

Did you carry out the deployment of the java sp and abap sp correctly? Are they on the same level?

You need the following packets:

SAPINST<SP>.SAR

CTRL<DB><SP>.SAR

J2EERT<SP>.SAR

J2EERTOS<SP>.SAR

and install them in the same order!!

Hello Jaime, thanks for you help. My version is 640 SP18

and is the same level, abap and java.

I think in a posibility...an issue with SLD connection maybe?
