what exactly do you mean with CMS? what/how do you access it? there's a service user called cmadmin_service that handles the access to CM in the portal, maybe it's this user.

HI Archim ,

In NWDI when we try to update CMS it is prompting the the user id or password is incorect

ok, this is a total different thing...

go to the CMS Domain Administration, there you can see, which user you use as CMS-communication user:

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/43/e995dce1582d53e10000000a422035/frameset.htm

then check this users password (e.g. enter a new one, reset its password and make sure it isn't locked)
