Cleanup E071K

Hello

our E071K table has reached a considerable size (over 2GB)

I didn't find standard SAP archiving objects to allow archiving the data in E070/E071/E071K

Is there any standard support for cleaning these tables ?

I found sapnote 722443 which describes cleaning the SAP-related records out of E071K but it is suggested to only use this tool in preparation of a Unicode conversion.

Has anybody cleaned these tables and are there any drawbacks ?

Hi,

This table is in touch with transport managment system, and deleting entries can cause you a trobule.

I don't know any oficial procedure for deleting or archiving entries from this table.

I would suggest to you open OSS message and ask support.

Sorry didn't help so much, but if you get any official response please past solution.
