Hi,

I had created project in CIG and given connection details for ECC (cloud connector host ,, location id) and CIG P-user.

When i am testing connection in connectivity tool, it gives below error.

"CIG unable to connect to your server as it responded with an Error - HTTP 401 - Authorization denied for the credentials provided for basic authentication."

In SU53 of ECC no logs are coming.

User configured in CIG for ECC has below authorizations .

Any way i can trouble shoot.

Thanks,

Mayank

Now, Error has changed to "CIG unable to connect to your server as it responded with an Error - HTTP 403 - Server cannot serve the HTTP request as the requested user doesn't have necessary ACL or permissions on the target server"

Any inputs?

Thanks,

Mayank

Hello Mayank,

Currently we have the same issue while trying to reach ECC via CC.

Could you please share details how did you resolve this issue?

Thank you!

for the 403 error? Make sure P user has been assigned all the necessary authorizations or make sure your certs are correct..

hi All,

Any idea if apart for SSL certificate, we need any other certificate for CIG inbound integration in ECC system.

Tenant certificate in Resources tab in CIG portal.

Thanks,

Mayank

Please check the combination of hostname and password is right. Also, please check the trace logs of cloud connector.

Hello Mayank,

In the CIG project, you have to provide the password of your backend system(ECC/S4HANA). From the error message, it looks like issue with the password. Also, please ensure that the following are done:

1) Required authorisations are provided to the communication user.

2) path/sub paths are properly maintained in the cloud connector.

Thanks,

For testing purpose, gave SAP_ALL access and changed the path to '/' in cloud connector, even tried with reconnection in cloud connector, but still it is giving same error.
