Hi,

i think you'll avoid dump: "no space left on device"?

-> try fm GET_FSYS_SINGLE

try the following code , it will give the size of the specified folder and its subfolders.

data: g_command(240) .
data: data: begin of itab_result occurs 0,
        one(1),
        line(239),
        line1(240),
        line2(240),
        line3(240),
        line4(63),
       end of itab_result.

move: 'ls -la <folder name>' into g_command

call 'SYSTEM' id 'COMMAND' field g_command
                id 'TAB' field itab_result-*sys*.

Hi,

Check these two links, where in an example is given to find the size of a file in Unix.

http://www.sapdevelopment.co.uk/file/file_browsefile.htm

http://sap.ittoolbox.com/code/d.asp?i=10&d=2296&a=s

Hope that helps you.

Hi Nileah,

I'm not sure that you mean by <i>folder size limit</i>. Are you guessing that there might be a short dump ? Or have you encountered one and want to avoid it ?
