Hi,
I would like to know if there is a way of changing the the series of the transport numbers in SAP.
For e.g if we take the transport number PD1K913892
Can we change the series of all the new transport numbers from 913 to 914.
Is there any method of doing this.
Please help.
Regards,
Visshwas
You can do it manually by changing from the DB level the entry in table E070L.
Have the following entry
TRKORR <SID>K913999
So the next transport generated will have the number <SID>K914000

Hi,
I came across this thread when looking for the same thing and figured I should paste the solution here:
Note 12799 - Old correction numbers reassigned after recovery
It is possible to do this by following the note above. My usage case is a system migration using R3Load export/import without SID change and subsequent SE06 Initialization of the STMS. I will still need the old transport files copied from the filesystem and newly generated transport requests would need to avoid the range of numbers already issued.
Best regards
Mark.

Dear,
It is not recommended in SAP for making changes in standard functionality.
every request starts with its own system id (SID)
So that it can be meaningful
