Changing target version of 'CR Basic for VS2008' from default 10.5 to 10.2

We use "MS Visual Studio 2008 Professional" with bundled version of Crystal Reports ("Crystal Reports Basic for Visual Studio 2008") for web development.

Can I set some option in this enviromnment for generating Crystal reports compatible with 10.2 version,

due to production server running on 10.2 version ?

Thanks in advance

Marek

OK, but we cannot change runtime version on server.

So when we cannot change target version and as I expect it's not possible to downgrade Crystal Report for VS2008 to Crystal Report for VS2005 without downgrade whole Visual studio 2008, can we do anything else to current Crystal reports project files to be compatible with 10.2, like using only features from 10.2 or another idea?

Thanks

Essentially, you purchased one product; .NET 2008 and part of that is CR 10.5.

Lets' take CR out of the picture and pretend you wrote your app in .NET 2008 using the MS Report Writer. You now want the MS Report Writer to be from .NET 2005. Only way to do that is to obtain .NET 2005(?). Ditto for CR 10.5 / 10.2. It is part of the .NET version irrespective of who created it.

In a word; no.

CR 10.2 bundles with .NET 2005, CR 10.5 bundles with .NET 2008. You either use one, or the other. Your other option, since you are using .NET 2008, is to install the CR 10.5 runtime on that server and deploy your version of the app. Runtime links for most version of CR are here:
