Changing Pie chart data from Web Dynpro - Flash Islands

Hi,

I have two Pie charts in my Flex application whose dataProviders are bound to two separate Web Dynpro context nodes.

Web Dynpro application is running fine for the first time and rendering initial Pie charts correctly.

TableCellEditors in Web Dynpro are InputFields and Pie charts should change according to values user enters in Table.

I have two views--> NormalView and FlashView.

NormalView has two tables and two buttons. User edits the data in table and clicks "Update" button. I have created two action handlers for two buttons.

In FlashView, I have created two Datasources and two events with name "labelFunction" and corresponding event handler.

Any idea how to achieve this requirement?

I referred to SAP SDN Article "How To Create an Interactive Flash Island Slider in an Web Dynpro for Java Application" and implemented similar design.

Please help.

Thanks and regards,

Amey

When the data changes in the context bound to the FlashIsland the chart should redraw. You don't need to do anything to make this data update happen.

Is this not occuring for you?

Have you looked at the tutorials for WDA and FlashIslands?

Particularly the Bar Chart Example does what you describe.
