Changes are not reflecting in WAD

Hi,

We are using BI 7.0 WAD. Suppose if i create a one web template and if i run it ...it is working fine.

If i do change anything on the present web template and run this web template it is giving the previous result....it is not reflecting the present changes.

The changes made in the WAD web template is not replicating on web browser result.

Then I did "Save As" of Existing Web Template and gave a New Technical Name and Executed. Then it was working fine.

Please help me.

Dear Pinky,

Please check whether the corrections mentioned in note 1087841 have been applied. If yes, please install the latest version of the support desk tool which is attached to note 937697 and check whether the check 'Cache Invalidation' is green. Are there any (other) red checks left? Please make sure that all checks are green! If this still does not solve your issue please let us know your SPS Level and the Patch Level of the BI-components BI-BASE-S and BIWEBAPP.

you need to clear the HTTP cache in SMICM before executing the changed template.

I cleared the HTTP cache in SMICM before executing the changed template. But i am facing the same problem. Still changes are not reflecting.

Hi,

Once check the Read mode for data ( current data-NEW or precalculted - Stored or hybrid - if it exists). Once again save it and execute in foreground.

Hi,

Open your web template , just click on outside of the tables or charts(open area)- -> then check in web template properties(by right click on open area-->properties) or you can directly see it in left side panel -->web template tab -->Read mode of data .

Read mode of data is present in web template properties of BW 3.5 WAD but not in BI 7.0 WAD. Currently, we are facing this issue with BI 7.0 WAD.
