Change design in Internal ITS

Hi there,

we switched a call of a IAC from external ITS 6.20 to Internal NW7 ITS.

If we call this service without portal with the direct link to WAS, the design and layout are okay.

But if we call this service as IAC from netweaver portal, we get a bad design in babylue with a wrong layout.

In external ITS we can set parameter to this service:

~design standard

~designbaseurl http://rm020s042.rh.ims-ihost.lcl:8040/sap/its/mimes/sap_designer/99

Which parameter I need to enter in the internal ITS, to get the good design?

best regards

Christian

The reason for the wrong design is most probably that on yourportal you have old outdated styles. Regenerate the styles on the portal for your integrated ITS. To regenerate the styles the portal must call the ITS service sap_generate. The portal documentation describes the required steps.

Thanks,

this helps a little, but the design/layout are still breaked, missing buttons and layouts and infos and bad layouts.

If we openend with the direct link, all is fine.

Some other solutions?

Hello Christian,

If you like the layout/theme when you call the IAC service directly (without Portal) then you can turn off the design in the Portal. Otherwise the solution is as Klaus mentioned. Regenerate the Portal theme, clear your browser cache and try it again.

Hello Edgar,

there´s a option, to turn off the design in the portal? Can you tell me where?

Problem is not only the design, many fields are wrong.

We call the IAC sap/bc/gui/sap/its/cv/cvw3a from internal its. After search for documents, the directly link shows informations from file, and the way over the portal gives no infos but new formularfields.

It´s possible that we have to develope this theme in transaction SE80 in the Backend?

Kind regards

Christian

Hello Christian,

That would be in the Portal. You will need to logon to Portal as an administrator then in the same node as generating a theme there should be an option to choose what theme to use. I believe you either choose the default ITS theme or leave it blank.
