hi all,

We have BOE 3.1 installed with CMC using oracle database, and running into an issue that our company has 90 days password policy. User required to change their Database password every 90 days, and this poses problem for some of our users that has a lot(~350) of recurring jobs that uses the same database password. They have to go through every report and reschedule them every 90 days. Is possible to change the database password centrally without going through every single recurring job? Is there a process that I can put in place to check if user's database password is changed and propagate the changed password to BOE?

Regards,

Susan Johnson

Susan,

Is all reports are in one folder ? Or different folders?

All reports are using same DB inforamtion ?

If your company can afford for a thrid party tool, try "report Inspector" tool for this option. It works really great.

Thanks,

Anil

No, they are in different folders.

But they are all scheduled with same credentials.

Is there anyway I can script this to change the db password?

Thanks,
