Hi,
In EP we create System Objects in order to connect any data sources like R/3.Can we use the same Sytem name to identify two different clients.
For example
I have created X_system name for client Q1/100 and Y_system name for client Q2/100.So using the same system name say X_system can i connect to Q1 and Q2.PLease can anyone help me on this issue as it is urgent. Thanks in advance.
Thanks,
Swapna.
Hi Swapna,
You have to create two system objects to connect to two different clients

Hi,
for me the system name is the name being displayed in the Portal Content Directory tree on the left side of the system administration tool.
You have System Aliases to distinguish the different systems - and each system needs its own System Alias!
So if you have a R/3 system with two clients you have to have two system objects and two different System Aliases!
Hth,
Michael
