Can we add Field Descriptions to the Table Fields created through HDBDD file in HANA Studio?

hi Experts,

I need to get comments( Text Descriptions) added to my table fields created using HDBDD in HANA Studio. is there a way to do that?

No. For HDBDD files there exists not syntax option to write comments for columns which appears than in the catalog. You can only do the comments in the HDBDD files itself.

What do you mean with "any help"? There is not option to reach your goal with an HDBDD file. You have to switch to something else (like an HDBTABLE) if your requirement is an absolut must have.
