Vamsi,

Only the message is posted in IE.So v wont get sender details MONI,Since it s n XI ABAP stack.

IDOC is n R/3 system ABAP stack.

without sender agreement how it will identify the sender...

still its not clear u refer some blogs for deatiled information.

HI Vamsi,

In case of sender IDoc v wont create communication channel.

While triggering the IDoc it directly posts the message in the Integration engine.

So u cant find any acknowledgement in SXMB_MONI.

Hi,

Yes the Process U Said is Correct .

the IDOC will be Posted to the IE Directly And the Pipeline Steps will be Performed in the IS

I Think MONI is a Place Where we can See Successfully Processed Messages.

So Every Successfully Processed Msg Shld be Appear Here

We can't monitor idoc in sxmb_moni. Idoc has no communication channel and Idoc resides on Integration server.

1. use t-code sm58 if you get nothing selected message it means idoc is posted to XI. or

2. use t-code we02 to check idoc has reached xi.

Hi

Since there is no communication channel for IDOC. Hence no message appears in SXMB_MONI.

Use IDX5 for IDoc adapter Monitoring

Use we02 to check if outbound iDoc is successful.

Although error acknowledgements shall be there in sxmb_moni.

Thanks

Hi Khanna,

MONI runs in XI ABAP stack.

IDOC s triggered from R/3 system.

First the message should reach the XI Integration engine from R/3 system.

Hi Vamsi,

The IDOC will be in SXMB_Moni only when it is sucessfully posted to XI system.

So we monitor whether the IDOC have reached the XI by the Tcode IDX5.

If in case it as failed, it may got failed in R3 system in SM58.
