Can I use triggers in SAP B1 to monitor inserts?

Hello all,

I am working on a project where we need to monitor new entries in the OPDN table (Goods Receipt PO) in SAP Business One. Our goal is to detect when a new entry is inserted and then send the DocEntry to a specified URL for notification purposes.

My main concern is whether implementing such a trigger and stored procedure could affect the stability, performance or compatibility of SAP B1. We do not modify any data, we only monitor the insertions and send a notification.

You can use SBO_SP_PostTransactionNotice procedure. in this procedure you can capture the moment of addition and save the data to another table of your choice.

There is an example in the link below
