Hi, experts,

When I design the PO display role, I want to realize the following requirement:

display PO type A under plant 1000 and

display PO type B under plant 2000.

I found when I create two roles for each above,

display PO type A under plant 1000 ( Role A )

display PO type B under plant 2000. ( Role B )

then finally, the user can also :

display PO type A under plant 2000 and

display PO type B under plant 1000 (it is not what we expected).

How can I met this requirement and avoid the situation above ?

Regards,

Sterling

Hi Sterling

Have in mind that the combination of the two authorization fields must be bundled into one authorization object. I assume you use authorization object M_BEST_BSA for the purchase document type. This object does not have the authorization field plant. An authorization object is checked as a whole, as one entity. That is the reason for the behavior you desribed above.

You could create an custom authorization object that contains both authorization fields and which gets included in an appropriate User Exit.

Best regards
