Can BW 3.5 work with ECC 6.0

Can BW 3.5 (NW04) work with ECC 6.0 (do the extractor work correctly) or do you need to upgrade to BI 7 (NW04s)?

Yes it works

but you just have to have the same level of plug-in in the two systems.

Hi Chea-Lie,

do you mean the PI-BASIS plug-in?

We've upgraded our R/3-System from 4.6c to ECC 6.0 (first only our development-system).

Now I'm testing with the transaction rsa3 and get some curious results.

The extraction of masterdata is fine, but if I try to extract some data from 2lis_02_item I get no result. If I try it on our old system I get recorde from this datasource. Also i tried other LIS-datasources and the result was always the same: 0 records.

CO-datasources work fine.
