BYD2405 Cannot assign logon certificate

Hi All,

I cannot assign a logon certificate to my account by following the instructions.

Here is the steps I taken:
1. Go to Application and User Management -->Common Tasks--> Edit Trust Certificate Trust List
2. Update CA certificate of user certificate
3. Go to My Settings --> Manage Certificates
4. Click on the "Assign Logon Certificate", then, I got the "No Certificate Available" page

I do have a valid certificate in my browser.

Dear Customer,

Please refer and follow below two KBAs. They show how to assign login certificate.

3351213 - How to Download and Setup Certificate-Based Logon - SAP for Me

2853767 - Assign Logon Certificate - SAP for Me

It seems that the steps you taken is correct. But there is one point need to be noted when assigning login certificate. ByD doesn't recognize all the issuer of certificates. A valid certificate should be from a trusted certificate authority. Trusted certificate authority can be found in Logon Using Client Certificate (X.509) | SAP Help Portal.

If you cannot get a certificate from a trusted certificate authority, you can request a certificate from SAP Cloud solution.
