I have a number of small towns in my model that are unable to be resolved by name. I would like to use latitude and longitude to resolve these towns. Following the Lumira 1.15 User guide, I created latitude and longitude measures with a numeric types. I then go to "Create a geographic hierarchy..." > "By Latitude / Longitude" but the field is greyed out and unselectable. My data source is HANA. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?
Hi Scott,
You are not doing anything wrong here. The thing is performing such operations in SAP Lumira is currently not supported on SAP HANA. We will get this restriction clear as part of our documentation.
That being said, this is a very interesting feature and I encourage you to post an idea on our Idea Place so that we can explore this support for future releases.
Thanks
Antoine

If you use HANA in offline mode, it works. However, you have to download all the data from your model to your client each time you refresh.
