I want to have list of BW Objects / BW Topics, to start learning BW.

The Best Flow in which a beginner should start.

Rohit-

There are many ways to learn BW / BI. It all depends on how YOU learn best. I've found that finding a mentor or guru is the best way... connect with an experienced person who is willing to explain things to you. Get your hands on a BW system and start working. Begin by learning how to develop queries and workbooks. Then develop an understanding of the data and OLAP tools. Then learn how the data gets into the various infoproviders.

I liked your answers and also know the same things, but moving in the right direction is very necessary.

That is why i want to know list of topics so that i can learn and practice sequentially by myself.

Hi Rohit,

SAP BW is broadly divided into three areas like Modeling, Reporting and Extraction. It's a ETL DataWarehousing tool.

Please check the [help file |http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/e3/e60138fede083de10000009b38f8cf/frameset.htm] on SAP BW 3.5 version, you will find all the areas (topics) included in it.

After BW 3.5 version, we have upgraded version called [SAP NetWeaver BI 7.0|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/e3/e60138fede083de10000009b38f8cf/frameset.htm] version and after that BW 7.3 version which is the latest.

Hi,

You join good BI training and do practice more on the concepts what they are teaching in institute. In institutes you will get proper way of coaching. Meanwhile you can check the SDN forum for related topic wise. If any experienced BW guy in touch with you that is better.
