BW 3.1 install

Dear expert.

I’m trying to install BW 3.1, but I ran into some problems. After executing the SAP inst file with GUI, everything went fine until I ran into the step asking to (enter host with transport directory) I entered SERVER, but I got an error message (You entered: server

Can't resolve host 'server' by name!), I’m stuck at this step, ….Pease Help.

Sorry to interrupt your thread, I saw some where that you had posted some info on LIS, need your help regarding that. I have never worked with LIS and now client wants this. Please post a reply at
