BusinessObjects XI Release 2 - SP4

Hi,

I can see that I need to install BusinessObjects Enterprise XI R2 - LA Fix for SP4 on top of Service Pack 4 to fix a regression. Are there any other considerations ? Any following important fix'es aso., or is it ok to wait for SP5 ?

LA fixes are sent out for production issues when the customer cannot wait for an official patch.

So if you cannot wait then you can install the LA fix but if you can then sure wait, the fix should be in an Fix Pack of SP4 befoire SP5 as well.

Thanks for quick response Tim !

With "in a Fix Pack of SP4 before SP5", are you then thinking about FixPack 4.5 ? Because all the other fix pack's also got their own LA fix's...:)

By the way, is there set a date for SP5...or just "december" ?

the normal process is LA fix is released for an sev1/sev2 issue (by special request/approval)

then typically the LA fix is rolled into then to the next available fixpack/service pack.

ok, and in this case the LAfix for SP4 was'nt included before SP4 Fp5.
