Hi,
if I use the Business Content, can I trust the system without checking anything?
I mean can I just activate, DataSource - InfoPackage - Transformation - InfoSource - Cube - Aggreagte and the Dataflow
will work as it should?
What if I activate something I dont really need? In my opinion nothing will happen if I activate more than I actually need!?
I mean I am doing it the first time, so I am not quite confident...
Hello Alto,
Business Content activation will work...
can I trust the system without checking anything?
Please check the content which you have to install, here you can use option Install with only neccessary object, where system will provide you only those objects which is related.
there are four options available please go through the below link for the clarification,

Hope it clears you.
Thanks,

Hi,
I have already tried only nessesarry Objects,
but there you wont get a complete DataFlow. Only The Cube,InfoObjects and so on...will be activated.
For the dataflow from R3 I need more. If I collect Object "In Data Flow before" it shows me so many Objects,
that I dont really need in my opinion, like some dso objects, strcutures...but I a not really sure.
So what will happen if I activate all objects from data flow before, even if i probably dont need them all?? Or is that
the wrong way
Hello Alto,
If you want to install data flow of perticular infocube or DSO or any datatarget, then select dataflow before, here you will get Transformation, DS, & DTP etc. which is related to that target. Dataflow after will give you queries n webtemplate etc.
Now when you drag with this option everything will come under DS n tranformation i.e all standard infoobject, routines related to that.
You can see green infornt of many objects which means those objects already present or installed. So, no worries if you install by selecting all objects i.e. they will just overwrite those objects. But make sure that no objects has modified before.
I would suggest installed only neccessary objects and unchek those you dont want.
Thanks,
Santosh
