Build Process Automation: is there a way to read environment variable of the project from processes

Hi,

Is there a way now to read environment variables of the project from processes (workflow) similar to how these can be read from Automation Tasks?

Thank you for reaching out. Are you still encountering the issue? You can also add a sub-automation within the workflow to utilize the environment variable.

Thanks for your suggestion. Adding an automation task to a workflow looks simple on the designer. But to bring it into operation one needs agents, machines for agents, infra to manage machines, etc etc. This is way too much to do for reading an environment variable. Further one has to wait for the agent to pick up the job and execute. Am I missing something?

Totally agree with Dinu, I would be very useful to access environment variables within the process itself instead of using an automation.
