Hi Daya,

Generally BSP has two parts like Designing part and coding part.

In the designing part you can design your layout using either HTML or Java script.

In coding part you should code with ABAP. So Java knowledge does not help you.

So first study well the ABAP and then you can start to study BSP. Its the good manner. Even you can follow the tutorials to learn BSP. But at that time you will struggle with ABAP codings. So try to learn ABAP.

If you want to use your Java language in SAP means, better you can start with WebDynpro for Java.

To learn BSP,you should know object oriented ABAP, HTML and javascript.

First start to learn ABAP and then go for OOABAP.I do n't think you face difficultiies

to learn OOABAP once you learn ABAP as you know object oriented

All the best.

To learn ABAP is mandatory to have at least a basic ABAP knowledge if you want to create BSP working with data from SAP.

If you have JSP knowledge and you want to create simple BSP I think you shouldn't have problems. Try with some tutorial.

I worked for a while with java and J2ee before learning ABAP (firstly) and BSP.
