Hi,

This is not browser problem but permission problem. Go to System Administration -> Permissions -> Portal permissions -> Right click Portal Content -> Open Permissions, Check if the user has appropraite permissions to access pcd. If not, add the user and provide appropriate permission like read, read/write or owner. Don't forget to check the end user check box.

John,

Try using the hostname, just in case if you are using the ipaddress to access the portal.

Hope this helps.

Hi

Used the host name instead of the ip address in the url http://<host name>:50400/irj/portal.

Maintain the host name in the host file of the OS.

ip address host name.

Hi,

Check the permissions again or login with administrator and try.

Try with I.E 7.

This looks like some problem in the browser.

Add the portal host to trusted sites: Internet Options> Security> trusted sites.

Check the differences in browser settings on the system that works and your manager's system.

May be javascript is disabled or some thing like that

Points are welcome if it is useful

If it wont work , try with below options

if you are unable to see the portal content area.Check this thread so that you can directly navigate to framework page in the production using the url.

And you can check wheather desktop inner page and everything assigned to it.

Open your Default Framework page after that open Desktop ineer page select the Details navigation as visiable then only you can see the navigation.

Points are welcome if it is useful
