I executed the email action from within a rule set. Simulation shows that email action was called without errors.
The email was never received in the inbox.
Q1. Does the direct recipient field expect an email id or the user id?
Q2. Can we pass in a table of email id's as dynamically determined recipients ?
Q3. is there some system setting that needs to be active so as to send an email from BRFplus ?
Request clarification before answering.
Hi Venu,
Can you elaborate on 2nd option.
Can the parameter that is passed as a derived variable can be
a) a table of EMAIL ID's
b) a table of user id's
and what does dynamically derived means ?? Please elaborate with an example.
Thanks for the other 2 points

Hi Pratik,
Email action always work with the email IDs not with user IDs, so you need to pass a table of Email IDs.
You can have a table as the recipient and the entries(email ids) can be provided in the runtime. These IDs may come from a nested expression also. I mean you can have a expression which returns a table of email ids here. In the runtime, BRFplus will first evaluate the expresion to find out the email ids and use them as the recipients.
Hope this is clear now.
Regards,
Venu
