Hey,
I'm quite new to the SAP world. I created a BO workbook with a planning sequence that contains an obligatory variable. When executing that sequence BRAIN-629 error occurs that says "specify variable" even though in the settings for the workbook.
In the settings for the component "PS_1" the checkboxes for all elements of the master data are checked, so it seems that BO didn't get the actual values of the variable entered before executing the queries.
I'm working with BO version 2.7.100.83415
Kind regards
Hello Tobias - BRAIN errors usually indicate an error on the BW back end. I searched for the error message and found this related SAP Note - https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/0002182828 sounds like it may be an authorization issue.
I also changed the tag from BI platform to BW.
Good luck

Perhaps you are right. I searched the BRAIN 629 message in SAP notes and 29 notes returned, 3 related to Analysis Office - but these are old notes https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/solutions/notesv2/?q=BRAIN%252520629&sortBy=score&sortOrder=desc... with this one relating most closely to yours https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2239449
