What is the difference between Integrated planning and BPS. We are on BW 3.5 , which is recommended?

Pls forward any documents which can be used in selling of either of these products to the client.

Thanks

If you are on 3.5, you have no option but to use BPS. If you are in 7.0, then you have a choice of BPS or IP. But all future developoments from SAPwill be towards IP , though BPS also exist in 7.0.

Also in BI section in service.sap.com and sdn.sap.com you would see couple of documents for the same.

Hi,

There are quite a few threads already on this forum on this topic (BPS vs. IP). You can look through them. You can also go through SAP Documentation for this.

In BW 3.5, Integrated Planning is not there.
