BOEXI 3.1 does not install on virtual server environment

Hello,

I have the BOE XI3.1 software (Business Objects Enterprise XI3.1 ) latest software of BO, however when I try to install the .exe file (server component) on the virtual server, it says you do not have access rights and permisions, inspite of being the Administartor. However, when I try an install the same exe on my laptop physical machine, it does not complain.

Is this because of the RAR files that are being extracted, or some other issue.

Ay suggesstions or recommendations will be helpful.

I believe I have seen this issue resolved sometimes by extracting the files to a folder manually using a program like winrar.

Hello Abhijit,

I have it installed on several VMware 5.5 images without any problems.

Please try it on a different image or download again.
