BODS load balancing

Hi

Our job server is pretty much loaded at a particular point of time, which is delaying the data loads. we are planning to setup one more BODS server for load balancing. please let me know if i need to install IPS/BODS again on new server.

Or will it be ok if i just install BODS componenets (JS, Access server) on new server.

Hi Subash

Your required deployment is similar to Scenario 4 which is documented on page 27 using link below

This is simply means configure your job servers on both machines to point ot the same data services repository.

Use the data services job server group that you will assign these job servers to when scheduling your batch jobs.

This will allow you to load-balance data services jobs.

Thanks for sharing the document. If i add users in CMC1 (IPS server1), how will these be replicated to CMC2 (IPS server2)
