BO XI 3.1 Audit information is not being written to the database audit

Hello,

To set up auditing in BO, we have properly configured database-level audit of CMS.

After this step, on the servers that we want to do the audit (for example, Adaptive Server Job Server), we checked the option the "auditing is enabled."

Yet we continue to have this error message: "Audit information is not being written to the database audit. Verify that the source of audit data is correctly configured on the CMS."

Has anybody ever had this problem? Knowing that we use BusinessObjects Enterprise Premium version and the database audit and CMS are MySQL, we use the user "sa" to connect to this databases and it has rights for writing to this databases.

We have restarted the servers after configuration but this doesn't change anything.

Any interesting suggestion is welcome, we really need this feature given the number of people working on our current BO.

Thank you in advance for any help.

Marie.

Check whether the 'write server audit information to specified data source' is checked and try enabling the Aduit for CMS through CMC and see how it works.

Hello,

Thank you for your answer.

The "Write server audit information in the specified data source" is checked and when I enable the CMS's audit at the CMC I still have the same error message.

Try setting up the Auditing through CCM one more time, create a new database for Audit in MySQL and make sure it has DBO rights.
