BO Webi Report - Decimals in subtotals

Hi,

When user add a break for a dimension in the BO webi report, the amounts of the subtotals that do not have decimals are shown rounded without decimals, and those that have decimals are shown with two decimals.

Example:

Amount decimal equal a 0 : 10.000,00 -> 10.000 (amount in subtotal )

Amount decimal not equal a 0: 5.000,35 -> 5.000,35 (amount in subtotal )

In the subtotal cell format, The user manually do change the display format so that it shows me all the amounts to 2 decimal places, regardless of whether they are 0 or not.

But the user wants to know if there is an automatic way to configure the output decimals of the subtotals in the webi application, without having to do it manually every time they add a subtotal.

Is it possible to make this default configuration?

I do not think there is a way to do this in Web Intelligence as some sort of system or even report setting. You can do this in the Information Design Tool per object which will then be in effect everywhere it is used.

Here is how. Format your Amount object in the business layer of the universe (Advanced tab > Edit Display Format...)
