I have a BI 7 web template which includes a Fliter_Pane_Item_1. Can I include a dropdown box in this filter pane and if so how. I am able to add the characteristics but would like to also include a currency conversion dropdown box.

Made some changes to the XHTML
The Filter panel will only display you the characteristics and key figures available in the query.
If you want to add a combo box to make "on the fly" currency conversion, you'll have to do that by another way.
