BI 7.0 WAD Charts

Greetings BI Experts

The requirement is such that I want to build custom charts. I am using 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN and copied to ZANALYSIS_PATTERN.

Now in the XHTML code i see this <bi:CHART_ITEM name="CHART" designheight="500" designwidth="760" webitem="0PATTERN_BARCHART_SWITCHED" >

Is this the place where all the Charts like PIE, STACKED , COLUMN charts are stored

Can some one please tell me where are all the Charts stored

since I dont want to change the standard 0PATTERN_BARCHART_SWITCHED

When I edit the chart WEB Item and I give back ground color, Series , Counts etc for PIE Chart the changed chart doesnt show up when I execute the template in the Browser

Your suggestions will be appreciated with points

Dear Nikhil,

if you want to build a custom chart I would recommend to start from scratch with a web template and a chart item on it. In the properties of the chart item you can edit the chart with the Chart Designer where you can select a chart type from a large list of available chart types.

Later you may bring this chart item and ZANALYSIS_PATTERN together.
