BI 4.0 in NW Portal 7.30

Hi all,

I am trying to create BI 4.0 system in the NW Portal 7.3 but not succeed so for.

I followed the step explained here.

I am able to complete step 1.

But i coud not complete step 2 which is systemFromParConverter

My NW portal is on Red Hat Linux.

I found an OSS message 1655219 saying that not to try to upload from client, istead from server. I try to upload from Red Hat server via Firefox but still have the same problem, "PAR Conversion aborted: File does not exist".

Any idea?

Hi,

Looks like the PAR file was either properly not uploaded or placed in the EP Server location. You can check if the PAR file has been successfully placed in EP server location and then re-try the same steps.

Alternatively pls refer to SAP Note: 1539463 that lists out other possible options for creating Systems from PAR (based on 7.0x options) in 7.30 environment.
