BEx Query Designer with SAP GUI 8.00 64bit and Office365 64bit

Hello everybody,

is it possible to run the BEx Query Designer in combination with Office365 64bit and SAP GUI 8.00 64bit?

The note 3218166 (https://me.sap.com/notes/3218166/E) says "the 32bit version can be combined with a 64bit version of SAP GUI for Windows as long as a 32bit version of Microsoft Office is used". I guess the note is referring to the usage of BEx Analyzer.

But we've already upgraded to Analysis for Office so the BEx Analyzer doesn't concern us. Still we need the BEx Query Designer.

Hello Markus,
in our case the BEx Web Application Designer is working in combination with SAP GUI 800 64bit and BEX Suite 32 bit.

Thanks Bernhard, we found that the Web Application Designer is indeed installed however there was no shortcut created for it in the startmenu. After creating the shortcut manually we were able to start and use the Web Application Designer.

we don't use the BEx Web Application Designer anymore. However I just started it and it seems to work.
SAP GUI version: 8000.1.7 (64 bit)
BI-Addon version: 7.X (based on 8.00), SP 2 (32 bit)
Office version: 365, version 2408 build 16.0 (64 bit)
