try to check with SAPBEXC.xla
and take a look oss note 585643
may need to manual register .dll with regsvr32

Hi Fran,
You will have to uninstall and reinstall SAP GUI from a different source. Looks like the source, from where you have installed earlier is corrupt and hence you are experiencing this error. Le me know if this works.

Hi Fran,
Do an Installation check of the BEx Analyzer as follows:
In the bex analyzer menu, Business explorer -> Installation Check -> Once the excel sheet opens, press the start button to start the check. Check the entries in red to see any missing/old ocx, dlls.

it might be that the SAPGUI is not properly installed. Please specify if the error occurs when you open any workbook through excel or theough the web ?
This might lead to an SAP Note
Also give us your BW Version and Support pack levels
