Bex - Currency Translation

Hi !

I am trying to use menu function Currency Translation,

However i get the error message:

"Conflict: Target currency already established in currency transl. type ZUSD.

Message no. BRAIN712 "

How do i enable/maintain the function of currency translation to other Currencies ?

HI,

It seems that you have already given fixed currency in the currency translation (RRC3) . This being case system will not allow user to select currency. User needs to select only currency translation and keep currency field blank.

Hi Kapadia !

First Thanks for your answer it was very helpful for me.

I created a new Currency translation via RRC1.

The Currency translation is based on time charecterstic 0CALMONTH,

However when i am trying to use the Currency translation At my Bex

report, i don't see the Currency translation search help of Conversion Type,

and when i am trying to use it i get the error message :

" Currency translation type DOCU_TIME cannot be used here.

Message no. BRAIN699 " .

How can i get more information about the error ? How can cause my report to

see my Currency translation .

Please paste your configuration or settings done in DOCU_TIME ...to have more details on the error.

Also let me know how are you using the translation .

Hello ,

In RRC1 select the option Time References and in that select,

Time Based value from Variable : This option is selected, when report should convert all key figures into target currency based on exchange rate as on specified month in query designer variable entry.

then select the Currency translation type in the Bex level ,from the variable .
