BAPI_PO_CHANGE sum of percentage exceeds error

ERP2005 with IS-PS

In executing BAPI_PO_CHANGE to add two or more service line items, the service line items are not created. The error message number that we are receiving is 06-413

"Sum of percentages >200.0< exceeds 100%"

Please advise -

Looks like there is a problem with the ACCOUNT ASSIGNMENT data.

Could you elaborate a little on that Ravi? Could it be just bad data we are using?

When you do a account assignment in PO's, you can do something called as SPLIT accounting, that means for example 50% of the amount you can allocate it to a specific G/L account / WBS element and remaining 50% to a different G/L account / WBS element , so that over all its 100%.

From the error message it sounds like that you have specified two different G/L account / WBS elements but in both cases you have specified 100% allocation so that over all it becomes 200%.

So, look at TABLES parameters where you are passing the ACCOUNT ASSIGNMENT data.
