BR0364E Verification of header files on volume in device /dev/rmt0.1 failed

Issue seems with device parameter changes.

Correct the device lable and reschedule your backup....you can check the same with below command

First label the device with below command

brbackup -i force -v scratch

After that try to schedule backup with below command

brbackup -d tape/disk -t offlie/online -m full -u syste/password

Do you mean tape lebel ? if yes we always intialize tape with scratch before every backup. As per suggestion of SAP we are upgrading our BR*TOOLS patch level.Lets see what happens. Please advice ..........

Hi,

BR0365E The content of the saved file /oracle/DEV/sapreorg/initDEV.ora is different from the content of /oracle/DEV/920_64/dbs/initDEV.ora

As Bahvik has already told, compare the parameter for both files , & before made changes in any file take the backup of the file.

Dear bhavik / Karan

First thing i did was to compare these 2 files but both r similar in content, size and Ownership.

To add we had created spfile and then changed two of the DB parameters.

Hi,

compare the difference between those two files.

$ diff /oracle/DEV/sapreorg/initDEV.ora /oracle/DEV/920_64/dbs/initDEV.ora

Find the difference.

Which is the latest one ?

Backup /oracle/DEV/sapreorg/initDEV.ora to another location as a copy. and put both the init<dbsid>.ora files with latest version.

and re-run your task.

If error, post the same.
