Backup CAL Instance from AWS and restore it in Azure

We are moving our CAL instances from AWS to Azure under new subscription, Is it possible to backup the current instances and restore them to new instances in Azure?

No, the snapshots used by AWS and Azure are different and CAL has no automated function for transforming them.

CAL subscription is quota based. As long the instance is not terminated you can use it as part of new subscription.
CAL would never terminate instance without explicit request by the customer.

When purchasing an SAP Cloud Appliance Library subscription, you can decide how many active solution instances you want to have at once. You can even mix and match the different solutions within a subscription period if the number of active instances at any given time does not exceed the number covered by your subscriptions.
