You plan availability times for communication channels to enable them to be started and stopped automatically instead of manually.

Say if you want ur File Adapter to work only between certain time interval, then you can set this for that channel.

You can plan availability times for communication channels to enable them to be started and stopped automatically instead of manually. For this you need to have authorizations of the application sap.com/com.sap.xi.mdt*mdt with the role modify.

Whatz its use???

We use it to schedule communication channels as per our need. For eg we need to bring files every 12 hours and even we need to maintain World timings> We can set the polling in communication channel and schedule it in RWB.
