Hi,

For protection reasons the default availability status is suppressed. So each user must first change the availability status on "Determine status automatically" in order to enable the displaying of the correct status in the iView User List.

Pooja.

Hi,

but this wasn´t the solution of the problem, was it?:

problem: when I choose ‘Auto Detect Status’ it shows that I’m offline while I’m online...

Because we have the same problem and it seems to me like a bug. The answer for this problem from SAP is everytime patching (to Patch 33 then to Patch 35).

Now we have Patch 35 and the problem is still there. So it is interesting to hear that anyone has the same problem.

Hi,

These are the steps for activating RTC:

• Log on to the portal as a user with the role of a

system administrator.

• Go to the standard framework page:

(Content Administration/Portal content/Portal Users/

Standard Portal Users/Default Framework Page)

• Choose Edit->Object.

• Choose Tool Area iView.

• Choose Properties.

• In the Property Category choose "Show all"

• Set the Enable Real-Time Collaboration to Yes

• Choose Save.

• Repeat this process for any framework page related to

other users (if exist)

Hi,

The online/offline information is provided by RTC.

You should enable RTC in order for this functionality to work.
