Automatic email functionality in CHaRM for SOLMAN 7.1 sp06

Dear Team mates,

I am implementing Service desk and CHaRM in SOLMAN 7.1 sp06.

I have configured automatic email functionality for service desk, but when I tried to extend this feature to CHaRM, I am not getting profile "SEND E_MAIL" in ZMCR. Nor it is available for urgent correction, general change and administrative change.

Please guide, how should I achieve my deliverable in this case?

Points will be rewarded for correct as well as useful answers.

Thanking you in advance,

With best regards,

Deepak Garde

Thanks Jansi for the help...

Sorry to reply late as I was busy in GOLIVE.

It went successfully.

Mails are floating as per client's expectations.

Thanks and regards,

Deepak

Hi Deepak,

Please check whether you have done the following...

  1. The Custom Action for sending the Email have been added in the correct Action profile
  2. The Action profile (with the Custom action) has been assigned as the Action profile for the desired Transaction type/s
  3. Appropriate Schedule and Start conditions has been defined for the Action in the Conditions with required statuses as conditions

SCHEDULE condition should look something like ---

          &CRM Service Process.User Status&  [*] E0002+M++HEAD

           and &CRM Service Process.ErrorFreeFlag&  = X

START Condition should look something like -- (Ensure that you are using the Exact Status           and "=" while providing the Start Condition)

           &CRM Service Process.User Status&  = E0012ZMMJHEAD

Hopefully it would work if you have done all of these. Revert back if you are still facing any problems.
