Hi experts,
I've setup monitoring on CCMS, and for errors occuring in Integration Engine (e.g. Mapping Errors), I 've configured alerts and auto-reaction methods for each of them.
I'm using the default CCMS_OnAlert_Email.
In Control Tab -> Execute Method -> The option Periodically in background process (as job) is selected.
However, when I manage to trigger an alert in CCMS, the status of the alert stays as ACTION_REQUIRED.
I have to manually trigger the auto-reaction node by selecting Edit -> Nodes (MTE) -> Start methods -> Start auto-reaction method, and then the emails will be sent out.
How can this be automated?
Please help.
Thanks.
Ron
I found a solution:
In the properties of the method CCMS_OnAlert_Email:
Control Tab -> Execute Method -> The option
> Periodically in dialog process (short-running program)
The emails are triggered periodically. From my observation, it takes about 5mins to send the alert.
My question now is:
1. In CCMS (RZ20) -> Exchange Infrastructure -> PI1 -> IEngine -> System Errors -> Category Mapping -> Message alerts by Error Codes, the alerts displayed by error codes.
So for example, if I have 2 GENERIC MAPPING ERRORS, I will only get 1 alert entry, and get alerted once.
Can this be configured? I will want to receive 1 alert for each mapping error.
Is this possible?

Hi,
Can you double check the auto reaction method assignment?
You do not need to have any SICF services enabled for this
