Auto Log Mode

Hi,

Where can the Settings of the Log Mode be checked in the Database Manager 7.4.30 ?

The Auto Log Mode is at present switched off.

Should the Auto Log Mode be switched over to ON ?

How can Auto Log Mode be changed?

What is to be considered during the Restore of the SAPDB, if the Auto Log Mode is activated ?

Hi,

The log mode settings can be switched from the menu bar under Instance -> Set Auto Log ON or it can be done from the side bar menu under Configuration -> Log Settings. Further more there are three types of Log setting that can be done. If you turn on the Log make sure that at the filesystem level there is enough space for the Log file to be written if there is not enough space the Log process will turn off the Log mode again.
