Authorization derived via web

Hi all,

I have to create a web application to plan data regarding 4 companies.

I'd like to create just one planning area-level-package for all companies and restrict users to plan on just their company using web data.

I mean, I'd like to choose company on web application (by clicking on 4 different links) and use this information on BPS-layout (in planning layout company is not fixed, but it's a free charatcheristic).

Is it possible?

Hi,

You can create a variable of type exit on company which gives list of 4 companies. In level, restrict the company characteristic by this variable and in layout, use this characteristic as header. Put this variable as folder variable. So when the user executes the folder, he will see list of 4 companies, out of them, he will select one company and plan correspondingly. Only one level, package and layout is enough.
